Webtoon storyboarding

Storyboards have been used in comic, TV, film, and animation production for decades, and many webtoon authors use them as well. A webtoon storyboard will help you plan out the scenes before you commit to how you want to organise them on the page.

Doing this will also help you think about transitions and pacing in advance, so you can make decisions about how to deal with the gaps between the panels. Will you place sections of dialogue in there? Overlap backgrounds to make the transitions more smooth? Or have large gaps to create tension and slow the reader down?

These worksheets should help you think about these things, while providing you with a space to create your webtoon storyboards.
