How does the free plan work?
The free plan includes 500 API requests per month, no credit card required. Upgrade at any time to a paid plan.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
You can set up an alert to notify you via email or webhook when you're approaching your API request limits or episode transcription limits. You can then upgrade your plan to increase your limits.
Can I buy additional episode transcripts?
Yes! Business plan users can buy additional transcript packs of 3,000 transcripts for $75 each (or $0.025 per transcript). Turn on Auto-scaling Episode Transcripts from your dashboard so that when your account has used up 95% of your transcript credits, we automatically add a new pack of 3,000 transcripts to your account and charge your account $75. You can also set the maximum number of packs your account can auto-purchase per month.
Example: If you are on the Business plan (which includes 2000 episode transcripts/month) and turn on Auto-scaling Episode Transcripts, if you generate more than 1900 transcripts that month, a new pack of 3,000 transcripts is automatically added to your account and your account is charged $75. You get a total of 5000 episode transcripts that month and pay a total of $225 for Taddy API for that month ($150 for the Business plan + $75 for one additional transcript pack). Your transcript credits reset to the Business plan default at your billing reset and you lose any unused credits from the previous month.
